Young Anna Hummingbirds Bathing - Best in HD Mode

Young Anna Hummingbirds Bathing - Best in HD Mode Tube. Duration : 3.32 Mins.

These thumb-sized Anna Hummingbirds are very young and learning to bathe. They are very cautious at first and will hover for 2 or 3 minutes just observing the little fountain. They have to be careful. Predators, potential drowning, or other aggressive / territorial birds make them quite vulnerable when bathing. Unlike the larger birds, they will seldom spend more than 30 seconds at a time in the bath. But they return very quickly, too. Often, two or three dips then they're off to chase each other around the neighbourhood.
