Wild Bird Feeders

Living in the Rocky Mountains at 9000 feet with the Pike National Forest at the west property fence, we are lucky to see and enjoy a multitude of wild critters. I thought the sights and sounds of Bandtail Pigeons on my bird feeder would make an interesting recording. Bandies are VERY wary birds that fly off at the least disturbance. Their "pecking order" habits and sounds are what this video is all about. My camera is about 100 feet away. While I sit quietly, all of the other birds in the area continue with their activities and sounds. Please enjoy!
